Web browsers allow users to revisit previously retrieved pages by moving backwards and forwards through page histories. Because this is allowed, it is very important for you to logout of AccessPlus, clear the browser's cache, and close your web browser when you are finished using AccessPlus to keep your personal information secure.

Clearing the browser's cache
Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4, 5, or 6 for Windows
- In MIE4, go to the "View" menu; in MIE5 or MIE6, go to the "Tools" menu. Choose "Internet Options...".
- In the "Temporary Internet files" section in the middle of the options window, use the "Delete Files" button to clear the disk cache.
Netscape Navigator/Communicator versions 4.x, 6.1+
- Under the Edit option on the top line, click on Preferences.
- A pop-up screen appears with a list-style menu on the left side.
- Click on the + or arrow before "Advanced" to expand the menu. Additional options will appear.
- Click on the first option, "Cache". Use the first two buttons to clear both the memory and disk caches.
- If you never want to cache anything, you can set the values for each cache to zero. This will prevent caching of any pages.
