- Two new AccessPlus kiosks replaced the older ones on the Iowa State campus.
The new kiosks are located in the Memorial Union near the hotel
registration desk, and in the Information Booth on Elwood Drive, just north
of South 4th Street. They are available for all Iowa State students,
employees, and visitors to use.
The new kiosks feature a unique web interface that provides quick access
to AccessPlus, Iowa State's homepage, and other campus web services. Unlike
the older kiosks, the new kiosks feature the same AccessPlus interface
available on the web, providing familiarity and consistency.
Additional improvements to the new AccessPlus kiosks include faster
computers, modern styling with custom cabinets and black components, and
large flat-panel LCD displays.
The new AccessPlus kiosks were set up by the ADP Center in cooperation
with FP&M, AIT, Memorial Union staff, and DPS. AccessPlus kiosks have
been a valuable resource on the Iowa State campus since 1995.

- Upgraded the Employee Information application for Faculty/Staff to include:
- Monthly payroll information.
- Vacation and Sick Leave accruals.
- Year-to-date Earnings statements.

- Added the Professional Development Registration System to the Faculty/Staff menu.
- For Fall Semester 2001
- The Class Lists application for Faculty/Staff features the following
additions and changes for Fall 2001:
- Added a View Class List Pictures button to the bottom of the View Class
List page allowing instructors to view 30 student photos per Web
page.
- Added the capability to download add/drop activity from the Adds/Drops
Web page.
- Added a mortarboard (graduation cap) icon to the View Class List page,
which will appear next to the name of any student projected to graduate
that semester.
- Enhanced the information and instructions on downloading class lists
and add/drop activity.
- Replaced Social Security Number with University ID on all printed and
electronic class lists.
- March 9, 2001
- Moved AccessPlus, Iowa State University's Web gateway to your personal
information and services, to a new address: http://accessplus.iastate.edu.
- Added a feature allowing the user to enter his/her University ID as an
alternative to his/her Social Security Number to login.
- Implemented a new underlying infrastructure while maintaining the
familiar AccessPlus interface.
